Why the builder is becoming paid

The site stays free to read: the guide, the map of Westeros, the codes, the timers, the tier list and the forum are not moving. What becomes paid is the computation.

Keeping the game data current every season — dragons, habits, heirlooms, power tables, real battle reports — and running the AI over tens of thousands of line-ups for every player has a real cost: time and computing power. The pass covers that, and nothing else.

No ads. No selling your data. No subscription renewing behind your back: the pass simply stops at the end of the season.
