How this ranking is calculated
No rating handed out by eye. The AI ranks every dragon on what it does in combat:
- It PLAYS its armies. Every 3-dragon army it can belong to, across all 6 placements and 4 troop types, against the reference beast and then against 4 solid player armies — one per troop type.
- Everyone on the same account: same level, same stars, same habits, no account bonuses. What separates them is what they DO, not what you invested in them.
- We compare AT EQUAL PAIRS. For each of the 630 pairs of other dragons, we look at who the best third is; a dragon's rating is its average placing across those 630 pairs. Nobody gets carried by its partners.
- Tiers are cut on that rating: S = best third four times out of five (80% and up), A from 62%, B from 33%.
