How does the Hatchery Chests event work and what does it pay?

The Hatchery Chests event rewards opening chests during the event window. Each chest opened advances a tier bar that unlocks prizes.

What to keep in mind:

• Each chest already gives 3 guaranteed rewards (Relics, sometimes an Elite Drop = 100 Relics, or even a Super Drop = 1,000).
• The Pity System guarantees an Epic every 130 pulls and a Legendary every 250.
• On top of that, the event adds tier rewards (keys, gold, Cores).

Strategy: if you've been stockpiling keys, this is when you spend them — you collect both the chests' Relics and the event tiers. A double harvest.
