What's the difference between Besiege and Control Seats (faction)?

Two similar but distinct events revolve around Seats of Power:

• Besiege Seats: rewards the act of taking a seat (points on capture, see the dedicated article). It's individual — your points, your tiers.
• Control Seats: rewards holding a seat over time, and mainly counts toward the faction leaderboard. It's collective — your faction scores.

The strategic consequence:

• For your personal rewards, go for captures (capitals, King's Landing = big points).
• For the faction leaderboard, you need to take AND hold: coordinate with the alliance to defend what you've conquered so control points accumulate.

The real jackpot is when the two overlap: you take a big target and you keep it.
