How does the Spend Gold and Resources event work?

The Spend Gold/Resources event rewards you simply for consuming gold, food, wood, stone or iron (construction, research, recruitment, speed-ups). Every expense pushes a tier bar.

The trick is timing: don't launch your big spends just anywhere. Stockpile your resources and your expensive projects (a costly research, a big recruitment wave, a building upgrade), then trigger it all during this event. You then get:

• the upgrade/result you wanted anyway,
• plus free tier rewards on top (keys, gold, Cores, Relics).

It's "free" reward on an action you were going to take regardless. Learn to spot when this event is coming and keep reserves ready to spend.
