Should I prioritize the permanent or the disposable in Dragonfire progression?

A classic mistake: investing everything in what resets each Reign (Reign Level, buildings) instead of the permanent.

The game splits them clearly:

• Permanent (survives Reigns): Star Rank, Habits, Heirlooms. What you raise there, you keep forever.
• Disposable / cyclical: Reign Level and most buildings reset each new season (Reign).

The priority rule: always favor the permanent. Starring a dragon up to unlock a combo tier (e.g. Kalspire/Shadowsong → 6★ = the Panic engine), upgrading its ⭐ Habits, securing Heirlooms — that pays off across every season to come.

Don't sacrifice durable progress for an end-of-season boost that vanishes at the next world merge. The Reign resets; Star Rank stays.
