🛒 Spending traps
Why shouldn't I spend my rewards without a plan in Dragonfire?
The most common trap isn't real money: it's burning the resources you've earned (Relics, fragments, Cores, gold) as they come in, with no goal.
Why that's costly:
- Relics scattered over 10 dragons at 1★ are worth less than concentrated on one dragon pushed far (effects switch on at 6★/10★)
- Cores dropped on bench Habits don't strengthen your main army
- Meat (which raises levels) resets at the end of the Reign: spend it before, don't hoard it
The right method: pick 1 or 2 pivotal dragons and a goal (e.g. "take X to 6★ and level its ⭐ Habit"), then aim all your rewards at it. Keeping a reserve with no plan is value sitting idle — and Meat is value that outright expires.
