How do you increase your tactical damage in Dragonfire?

Tactical damage 💜 is raised by the attacker's Instinct and reduced by the defender's Intelligence. Confirmed word for word on the Orders.

Levers:

1. Raise your Instinct (the Conqueror's Instinct research, the Sentinel breed, Sentinel auras like Wise Vigor at +20% Instinct).
2. Lower the enemy's Intelligence to multiply the whole team's tactical damage.

⚠️ Careful, there's a big hole on the tactical side: almost nothing in the roster breaks enemy Intelligence. It's the least-attacked defensive stat in the game. So a tactical army often lacks the debuff that would really make it take off.

What you can stack instead: Vulnerable (+10% damage taken) from Antares and Zivern (+15% tactical taken), which amplifies Malachite, Kalspire and Velar. Typical army: Feskar or Kalspire at the Center, Zivern / Antares as amplifiers, Malachite / Shimmer / Velar hitting.
