What is Taunt for in Game of Thrones: Dragonfire?

Taunt forces the target to aim its basic attack at the dragon doing the taunting. It's a defensive control tool: you redirect enemy hits onto one specific dragon.

What it's actually for:

  • Protecting your hitters and amplifiers: a tank taunts so the enemy beats on it instead of killing your fragile fire or tactical dragons.
  • In a physical army, you field a Taunt tank — Vaeldra or Vhagar — to soak while Daemoros and Thunderstrike hit.

In game, Vaeldra (*Lure*) and Vhagar (*Fiery Bonds*) each have a 25% chance per round to Taunt 3 enemies — and on Vhagar that doubles to 50% if the enemies are burning. So there's a combo: one dragon applies Burn, Vhagar taunts almost every round.

Note: Taunt only redirects the target's basic attack, not necessarily all of its Orders.
