What is a Reign and why does the game last 8 weeks?

Dragonfire runs in seasons called Reigns, each lasting 8 weeks. At the end of a Reign, a big chunk of your progress goes back to zero — that's intentional, it's the game's rhythm.

What resets each Reign: your dragons' Reign Level, all the buildings and research in your Stronghold, conquered territory, your base resources (Wood, Stone, Iron, Food) and your House level.

What stays forever: your dragons, their Star Rank, their Habits, your Gold, your Relics and your Heirlooms.
