Where to spend your gold in the Hatchery?

The Hatchery is where you turn your permanent gold into permanent power. There you can:

• Claim your dragons' relics
• Open Dragon Chests with keys (Dragonbone / Dragonglass / Dragonfire) or straight with gold

It's one of the best uses of your gold, because everything you pull out of it — relics, stars (Star Rank), access to Habits — is permanent and survives reign resets.

The right reflex: spend your gold at the Hatchery when you want to grow a key dragon (raise its star rank with its relics) rather than burning it on throwaway resources. Go for the chests that push the dragons you actually play.
