Why is my dragon's level capped in Dragonfire?

Your dragons' level is capped by your campaign stage. As long as you don't push further into the campaign, your dragons hit a ceiling (level 30 is a cap seen in game), no matter how much Meat or XP you throw at them.

So if a dragon refuses to level while you're feeding it:

• check which campaign stage you've reached,
• push the campaign to lift the cap.

The campaign runs 11 stages plus an epilogue (~40 days) and requires Stronghold Tier 10 before it ends. Progressing through it unlocks the level cap *and* rewards. Remember that this level resets every reign, so the cap re-opens each season through your campaign progress.
